I'm ashamed to announce that our community member "LNG" got caught cheating on the server and got VAC'd on-spot. Cheating will get you and your ip adress banned permanently by me personally on both forums as the gameservers.
Cancelled due to numerous teams leaving in the middle of the tournament, this will be reorganized but in a more professional way later on.
Preview: Hello ladies and gentlemen, I'm glad to announce that we will be doing an official CS:GO Competitive Tournament for our community.
This tournament is open for anyone who's part of the community and is willing to take some of their spare time and put it into our community tournament.
There's an unlimited amount of team slots, which means an unlimited amount of teams can participate in this tournament. Every player is only allowed to participate in one team, the teams have to make sure that every player will be available on the numberous dates given (usually you will have to choose which date is better for you to play on, the dates will be announced early enough). Failing to be available in the given dates will result in a disqualification and the team you would be playing against will automatically win. Last minute player replacements are also not allowed. This means that you have to atleast notify us 4 days before your match takes place that your actual teammate can't play and that he will be replaced with someone else.
If someone has to leave mid-game then they will not be replaced by a bot either. The community itself will be hosting the servers and they will all be run on 128 tick. It's going to be a near-vanilla game, meaning no fancy plugins will be added except for a light-weight PUG plugin, allowing people to !ready up and !pause if necessary.
- No cheating.
- No flaming.
- No offending player and team names.
- No chat spam to the other team.
- Your team is not allowed to pause more than 3 times in one game.
- Each player who participates will get a profile check, meaning we will get rid of players who have suspicious profiles.
- You can't enter the tournament with a VAC ban.
Prize:. Ofcourse this wouldn't be a real tournament if there wasn't a prize. The prize is a six month VIP for your entire team aswell with 3,000 Stamm points for all team members.
How to participate:
List your team down below with the same platform the rest has used.
Here comes another cool part of the community tournament, there will be a certain channel casting and commentating over all the matches live.
This casting show will be hosted by two semi-professional CS:GO players both atleast having the age of 16 years. They can speak English fluently and know all active duty maps.
They also have a high quality microphone together with a good internet speed aswell as a good PC since one of them will be streaming the entire match with someone else in a voice call.
They should also know how to cast matches in a fun way, excluding lots of silent moments. They will be sitting behind their PC as long as the match lasts, no breaks inbetween.
The two game casters will recieve 5,000 Stamm points each, aswell with 6 months of VIP+. NOTE:The reward is also depending on their performance, if it's been worse than expected there's a chance they will recieve no reward at all, it also works the other way around however. If the game casters' performance have been significantly great, they will get rewarded with a bit more than the above mentioned reward.
Casters: - Blisteringly , Classy Wolf
- Taki (Side-caster, who will be in a voice call with the main caster.)
Up to date list of the participating teams:
- Royal Paws - AlphaSix
- Crixus E-sport - [LANLAN] - SkyRaisers - exertus
The first 4 matches will only have one game played against eachother, so not the best out of 3. However the matches following after that will have the best out of 3 system.
