Hello!

As I promised somewhere on forums, we have decided to host public CLWO TS meeting where you can ask us about community, servers or discuss certain issues, rules, etc..
Since we never did something like this, we dont know how it will go, so please be patient, be polite to each other, dont speak when someone else is speaking, etc.

Ofc general rules will be enforced, and blacklisted players are not allowed to participate.

Event will take place on 8th of November at 18:00 CET (17:00 GTM) and it will be maximally 1 hour long.

Thanks to everyone who came. It's nice to see people share suggestions, ask (and answer) questions and participate in discussions!
Here are the minutes of the meeting. It includes the main points that were talked about and I also tried to give an impression of some less serious moments, just to lighten it a bit.

Introduction
The intent of this meeting is to give you the opportunity to ask questions to others, offer points you want to discuss with the community or any other point you want to discuss with the community or ask others or staff about.

Will there be another Minecraft server?

• There were some people looking into making a new one, but that has come to a halt. Currently, there is no set time-space within which there is planned to be a Minecraft server.
  
• Would you like one?
  • General response: Yes
    
  • Make it an event
    • General response: That’d be pretty cool too!
      
    • Ideas mentioned: UHC, Hunger games, Jailbreak Minecraft, Escaping from a boat map, Race for the wool
      
• It’d bring in more people to the community
  • Actually, it’s mostly the current playerbase that’ll play on it (as Minecraft doesn’t have like a community browser and there are many other big servers). Which is fine, but it’s not new players.
    

There are lots of blacklists, people with many hours. Will blacklisted players come back at some point if they have a genuine apology?

• It comes with time. It’s very much a case by case basis, but the majority of the blacklists after a long time can have another chance if they show they want it and show they’ve likely changed.
  
• With regards to people having many hours: if you are a common player and get a perma blacklist unless the offense is a clear cut big no-go, almost all get warnings or smaller bans beforehand to see if they adapt by themselves.
  

Would you consider a minigame server?

• There is MiniRace!
  
• Yeah, if there is someone that wants to put their time into setting up a server and maintaining it, hit us up. We can help with getting a first set of players, setting up and probably even offer hardware/resources for you to use. But it takes time and commitment to create a server with, most importantly, a solid playerbase.
  

How is the new zombie gamemode?

• Prefix worked on it for a while. It was getting pretty far and was interesting to play, but Prefix got tired of working on it and became inactive, where unfortunately this story has ended.
  

Zombie escape

• Zombie Escape does not have as much of a social focus (where on JB and TTT you talk more and converse with each other more), which is a focus for us. It could be like a temporary thing similar to a surf tho.
  

How is the gangs plugin coming along?

• There is part of it made, but it is not finished. Unsure what the exact state is, iNilo will know
  
• Be careful that people do not create their own little toxic-snowballing groups, as I’ve seen some annoying people gang together recently.
  • True, we need to be aware of that. Most of those groups, however, already find each other and create groups elsewhere, but it is good to keep it in mind. Could also do a lot of good to create a more group idea for people.
    

Make sure you do not promote (Jailbreak) veterans too quickly, as they might have old rules in their heads.

• Important to keep in mind there is a lot more to who gets promoted than just who informs others. But very true indeed. About 6 months ago, we (jailbreak management) made some promotions that were too quick with regards to the staff having old rules in their head. We learnt from that and have improved since then keeping it in mind.

What about a CS:Source CLWO server?

• Small playerbase.
  
• CS:Source has quite some successfull Jailbreak servers.
  
• Plugins may maybe migrate okay, unsure.
  
• Some expect it will not be played much.
  
• It’ll split the community.
  • Actually, it could bring some people to our CS:GO servers once they know about us via the CS:Source server.
    • Well, most people that play Source can’t run GO because of their PC.
      
• Probably will not happen, but an interesting idea.
  

Can we get warden teleporter when no staff is online?

• Sometimes no staff on, warden teleporters would be great to get players unstuck.
  
• Some think rating based voice nuke and warden teleporter would be good.
  • Will be discussed on the Jailbreak staff meeting
    • (After edit: conclusion: No. Warden TP isn’t used much anyways, so we’re not going to add a special thing to allow a specific set of wardens permission to wardentp under specific conditions).
      
• What about being able to give a freeday for the last T alive if there’s no staff on?
  • Interesting idea. Will be discussed.
    • (After edit: interesting, may potentially be added)
      

Can you add to the reprint how long ago you were red?

• Discussed a few cases in which this would have been helpful
  
• Not everyone finds it as helpful
  

Can we get a command to unfreeday ourselves (public command)

• Yeah why not. So you can unfreeday yourself if you rebel so you do not get the beacon anymore and can be sneaky + take some load off of staff to look for rebelling freedays.
  
• Many people like it. Will be discussed on jb-staff meeting.
  • (After edit: good idea, looking into adding it probably)
    

I’m worried about certain of you staff being wrongly accused on the forums

• Well, yeah, but there’s not a lot to do about that if people genuinely mean and think such. Thanks for the word of courage I guess :)
  

Zombie Freedays cause a lot of havoc in rounds

• Depends on the map
  
• Well, that’s part of the idea of it. Chaos can be the goal for some things.
  
• You shouldn’t accept LR on maps where it’s only problems.
  • If warden still does / trolly does so, it’s up to staff not to accept (As goes for any LR)
    

Popup that tells people what ZFD is

• That’s there, right?
  

Will there be more other weapons like elegun kinda special weapons

• If it helps CTs, sure. iNilo has a shotgun that shoots grenades *giggles*. But that is an accidental freekill machine.
  
• Such guns are very unique to CLWO.
  
• Unrelated side note: Eleguns are not allowed in warmup as they bypas the playgames plugin
  

Mentioned in multiple suggestions:

• iNilo: Suggest good ideas on the forums. If you tell me, I’ll write it down, I’ll want to check back later and won’t find it. On the forums I can always see and others can add ideas.
  

Donators, we love you. You keep the community running. <3

• What new things can we add to donators?
  • /define
    • It’ll be used to be (totally-not-)accidentally racist too much.
      
    • It’ll also use its value compared to how it currently is (tho this can be combatted by making the cooldown very high)
      

I found the first village in my Minecraft world.

Bug of pressing 1 and going to T side

• iNilo: That’s a CS:GO bug but maybe I can do something about it
  

Can we remove cell button on voodoo

• I guess, yeah that’d be good, as there’s 2 anyways
  
• Then nobody gets banned for it anymore either!
  
• Some people want it to be moved to the back, as they use the button often.
  • Someone do that to the map then yeah sure (but would require a decompile etc)
    
• Side tangent: people like the rework of sandstorm
  

Why are you not allowed to hunt anymore when there’s 1 guy left.

• You cannot hunt when there’s no rebelling T’s, there’s nothing to hunt.
  
• Hunting permission is not meant to be permission to check out the map a bit, it’s permission to go hunt for rebellers.
  

Suggestion for a stealth system

• Like using it but out of the water.
  
• Would be pretty cool.
  
• Please make a forum thread
  

Nade boost kills a lot of people

• It’s expensive. 25 plat coin for nade boost is expensive
  
• Maybe up the price even more?
  • Upping the price is not going to help much as most people using them have huge amounts of coins anyways
    
• Will be discussed in jb-staff meeting
  • (After edit: As mentioned, upping price won’t help. Lowering damage is an option, but it’s a good counter of the two health boosts).

idk what kind of gang plugin you are planning to do, but good_live ( german coder ) had 1 made with Bara i believe, when they had a Roleplay Server open. idk if u guys know eachother,if so maybe you could ask for help etc D: https://steamcommunity.com/id/good_live would be his steam
