Bio: | My CLWO Story: At first, I straight-up hated cs:go, but one of my friends (kind of) made his way into the pro scene, and there was a local tournament coming, so he wanted to carry us and play in the tournament. So, I decided to try cs:go. After one of the training sessions he gave the team, I saw this "community servers" button. I clicked a random server and that happened to be clwo. Never really played comp, only started playing that after like half a year. The same goes for other community servers, never even tried them. When I joined the server at first, I loved the fact that other people were having fun and it was quite informal at the time. I swear I was sweating my pants when I went CT back then. Not even joking, I would be shaking in my chair, especially when doing an attempt at wardening. I would, as I still sometimes do, think out rounds before taking warden. I kept coming back and the server seemed to be developing. After a little bit, a forum was added. Then, later on, a random igloo appeared. Slowly, more and more new things started coming in. Although my activity has had ups and downs, I feel like this continuous change is what makes me not burn out as quickly. Now, the server is a safe place to be. CLWO is part of my life now. And I do not mean jailbreak, I mean the community. It helped me get more social (both IRL and in game) and gave me a place to be the formal me that I want to be as well as an inspiration. Found many things to make a little program for and learned quite a lot from the program-related-things iNilo told me which inspired me a lot. Currently running custom lighting in my room inspired by Azziq. Applied for a job I would otherwise not even have dared to do. Classy, iNilo, you are fucking awesome! |
